Value Added Producer Grants
What is a VAPG?
The Value Added Producer Grant, or VAPG for short, is a USDA government grant that award recipients up to $250,000 in funding that can be used to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and can help increase producer income.
The VAPG helps agricultural producers participate in value-added activities that include processing and marketing agricultural products. Eligible applicants include independent producers, agricultural producer groups, farmer- or rancher-cooperatives, and majority-controlled producer based business ventures.
